I learned to dive in 1971 in Nova Scotia. Dove all winter for the next 4 years while at University. I never thought of diving in warm water back then, never thought I would travel to tropical climes. My wife and I are avid snorkelers here in Edmonton Alberta, we are members of Wing divers scuba club and get out diving as often as we can during the summer.
We are going to do the pool and classroom portion of the open water certification course this winter and do our open water dives next spring or summer and become certified scuba divers !
